Privacy Policy
Pot No Luck ("we," "our," or "the app") helps fantasy sports leagues collect buy-ins, run weekly side pots, and pay out winners. This page explains what information we collect, how we use it, and who we share it with.
What we collect
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and a password, which we never store in readable form, only a securely hashed version.
When you create or join a pool, we store the information you provide: pool names, buy-in amounts, payout structures, final standings, and any weekly charges assigned within your league.
When you make a payment or set up payouts, your card details and bank account information are sent directly to Stripe, our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number, bank account number, or routing number on our own servers. We do keep a record of transaction amounts, dates, and Stripe's own transaction IDs, since that's how we track who's paid and who's owed money.
If you enable push notifications, we store a device token that lets us send you alerts, like a payout confirmation. This token doesn't identify you personally on its own.
How we use it
- To operate the core features of the app: creating pools, tracking payments, calculating payouts, and sending notifications.
- To communicate with you directly, for example a password reset code or a payout confirmation.
- To keep the app secure and prevent misuse.
We do not sell your personal information to anyone, and we do not use your data for advertising.
Who we share it with
We work with a small number of service providers to actually run the app:
- Stripe: processes all payments and payouts. Stripe has its own privacy policy governing the financial information it collects directly from you.
- Railway: hosts our servers and database.
- Expo, Apple, and Google: deliver push notifications to your device.
We don't share your information with anyone beyond what's needed to actually provide the app's features.
Your data, your choices
You can update your account information within the app at any time. If you'd like your account and associated data deleted, contact us using the information below, and we'll take care of it.
Children's privacy
Pot No Luck is not intended for use by anyone under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we make meaningful changes to this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
